To all those of you that don't know our box yet, let me give you a short description: we select four whiskies and have some premium hand made belgian chocolate especially created to fit them as good as imaginable. You get 4 whisky samples of 5 cl each and 4 mini tablets of chocolate, 9 bits each, all of this arranged in a pretty box joined by a booklet containing all the informations about the products. This decision was not an easy one, but since we are only a small number of people, we can only ensure to provide you with the best entertainment if the full Committee is available. The idea behind it is the same, and the combinations are excellent. The box consists of: - 4 miniature glass bottles with a content of 5 cl each filled with tasty Whisky: Arran Madeira Cask; Benromach 10 100 proof; Writer's Tears; Lagavulin 16. - 4 specially designed for us and handcrafted boutique chocolates from a Belgian Chocolate Master Southafrican chocolate (70% cacao with jasmin; southamerican chocolate (67% cacao); white chocolate with vanilla and caramalised almonds; Southafrican chocolate (72% Kakao) with lavender and red pepper. Each pack contains a brochure further detailing the Whisky, the Chocolate and the fun we had as Committee whilst finding the perfect match in each case. The box will be on sale for the of 40€ per kit. We can ensure you it's an awesome experience, both for more experienced whisky enthusiasts as well as for beginners. Even though we know that these will not become collector's objects (because they are simply too delicious), we will aim to put out a yearly edition at roughly the same date. It's a 2004 Glendronach which has been in a port pipe for 12 years. So to be clear this Speysider is not a port finish but has been left its entire life in wood touched by that wonderful liquid. We got a decent amount of bottles out of the cask which we can offer you. Price for members is 75€. You may buy more than one.
