Dear members, and further whisky enthusiasts,

After last year's great success, ee are very pleased to invite you to our second holding of Burns Night, which is held in honour of the great bard Robert Burns himself, who in the 18th century wrote his poems about the simple life of the Scots and was therefore immortalised in his words.

We will be hosting the Burns Night Dinner at the Sofitel Kirchberg Europe (same venue as last year, but with bigger capacity) on Thursday 21January 2015. Starting time will be shortly after 7 pm and the night will include traditional Scottish entertainment as well as a four course Scottish Dinner with the necessary liquid provisions not to be forgotten (I mean Whisky, and more than one dram). The chef already knows how to catch a Haggis since we so meticously taught him last year.

The price for the evening is 80€ per person all included. People in Highland dress will be specially rewarded with a small gift from us and we hope that this is reason enough to bring out your Tartan.

Reservations go to [email protected] and the money can be transferred as usually to our Bank account.
Maximum capacity is has been enlarged but we do expect people to join in fast so do be quick if you want to join in with us to celebrate the bard, the whisky and the haggis.

IBAN LU94 1111 2553 9187 0000
Code BIC : CCPLLULL
And just mention "Burns Night + your name + the number of people"

Dat wär souwait alles vun eis, mir hoffen dir kommt zu villen an ob dat mer en immensen Owend zesummen hunn.

Bis dann

If you want to find out more about the bard, please read this little pamphlet about the life of Robert Burns which also includes a small explanation what Haggis is.
